Tran-Send
as a brand was established in September 1987 as a logistics
management and marketing company aimed at servicing the typically
diverse distribution needs of larger South African companies.
Since its’ inception success has been realized largely in
the FMCG sector, where many long term associations with multinational
organizations have been formed.
Diversification over the past few years has ensured additional
growth, especially in the industrial and shipping related
industry. Innovative solutions have ensured that Tran-Send
Freight Specialists are appointed as a preferred Service Provider
to various of the major role players in the industry.
In 2005 we felt the need for further specialization, and TRAN-SEND
CONTAINER LOGISTICS (PTY) LTD. was formed. As a Company
associated with Imperial Logistics we are now the Preferred
Service Provider to the Group in Container and Shipping related
movements. Seamless transformation to the new Company has
seen our Customers enjoying the benefits of specialization
and with our motto of:
“service
excellence through innovation”
the
products and services offered by TRAN-SEND CONTAINER LOGISTICS
will ensure that we remain one of the Industry’s leading service
providers.
IMPERIAL Logistics expressed interest in acquiring a controlling interest in TRAN-SEND
CONTAINER LOGISTICS and this process was formalized in July 2007 where IMPERIAL
purchased the 100% controlling interest in TRAN-SEND CONTAINER LOGISTICS. Synergies
derived from this partnership will further ensure that TRAN-SEND CONTAINER LOGISTICS
stays the “Benchmark of the Industry”.
